Dorothy Dandrige Performing Arts is a school of motivation and determination for students. The students are challenged
to excel in all aspects of their four years here whether academically, socially and even through the arts.With the variety
of arts given to the students the one with the most attention through everyone's ears is the music department.
Students who choose to take music as their art form is given the opportunity to partake in general music courses
such as
- keyboard techniques - chorus
-instrumental band - strings
Further more, the students will be attending events such as city wide parades, city- wide competitions and field strips
including Carnegie Hall. The students will be able to see all the varities of their art form and see professionals actually
perform there art.
