About our School
We are a high acheiving middle school located in northern Leon County in Tallahassee,FL. At the
Dorothy Dandridge School of Performing Arts there is an emphasis on the arts while still maintaining a challenging curriculum
with accordance to the sunshine state standards. At our school students with a variety of talents can grow and learn together!
Curriculum
At our school we use a fast paced contemporary curriculum. We push our students to perform at high
standards in all subjects. all of outr teachers are highly qualified to teach the children that are in their class. In
addition to the traditional curriculum we also incorporate the arts with our students to help stimulate their minds
Policies and Procedures
At Dorothy Dandridge, we are a high acheiving so we do not tolerate any forms of deviant behavior. Students are expected
to act in a professional manner at all times or they will be subject to disciplinary action. Our school is also a zero tolerance
drug and firearm school so if students break this rule they will be expelled without hesitation.
